I'm Shelley Abele-Foley, a fine artist based in Holbrook, Massachusetts, and Venice, Florida, with over 40 years of creative experience. I specialize in original oil and acrylic paintings, custom commissions, pet portraits, wall murals, and hand-painted luxury handbags. I earned a full Chancellor's Award scholarship at UMass Amherst and a BFA from Bridgewater State University.
My artistic journey began with mural and custom furniture painting before spending two decades as an art educator, helping aspiring artists while continuing to refine my own craft. Exhibiting in juried shows throughout Massachusetts and Florida, including the Falmouth Art Center and Venice Art Center, has shaped my artistic voice and strengthened my connection to the community. Today, I dedicate my time entirely to creating meaningful artwork, combining refined technique with heartfelt storytelling to create pieces that celebrate your story and leave a lasting impression.
